Brief

Dome Garden Supplies selected Alaress to provide a custom built product management system that would enable their ongoing management of products across five different websites (Dome, Nutrifield, eZiRANGE, Smart Garden and Westside Lighting). The challenge was the product data. Members needed to be able to login to submit order's however there were numerous complex business rules governing pricing tiers for the order quote generation. Further the designs for each website needed to be unique to their different target markets and present each of the brands as leaders in their industry.

Solution

Alaress worked to scope and design a custom built web based product management system that would enable the staff at Dome Garden Supplies to manage their product listing across all of their websites from one single, simple to use administration system.

We designed each of the websites working closely with Dome Garden's in-house marketing and graphic design department to create high impact designs that they agreed were going to match their requirements and position them as leaders in the hydroponic and garden supplies industry.

Results

The unique business rules surrounding the quote generation system were met which ensured their complex requirements held strong for online orders, streamlining the business and moving them into the internet age.
