Brief

Bescon Industries was looking for a digital partner to deliver a solution so that they could manage their products online across multiple businesses and website simply and easily. There was a level of importance on ensuring the websites were both easy to use for their existing and new customers and that the website's could perform well in ranking high on search engines for a range of key search terms.

Solution

The first challenge in this project was to understand the two separate businesses, Bescon Industries and Concreters Warehouse and the product data's similarities. Alaress custom built a content management system from the ground up to fit the bill. The web administration system enables the staff at Bescon Industries to manage the products across both websites (and ability to manage more websites in the future) from one location with minimal training or fuss.

Alaress designed unique websites for each of the businesses based on their existing brand guidelines. The website's featured high quality XHTML and CSS coding to ensure that the websites had the best chance of organically ranking highly for their industry keywords. Alaress' online marketing team focussed to ensure that an SEO strategy was in place throughout the project life cycle from beginning to end. A simple member only area was also developed to enable certain content to be accessible only by selected users.
